Job Summary: 

To serve the needs of the business, our customers, and our colleagues by ensuring the effective management of all the financial matters, working closely with departments in matters affecting the financial operations of the company. This role is responsible for ensuring that all the financial matters of the company are conducted to the highest standard of honesty and integrity. 

Responsibilities: 

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
• Record and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather information for budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Conduct month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to management.
• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting the organization.
• Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
• Provide necessary documentation and support during audit processes.
• Analyse financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
• Support decision-making processes by providing relevant financial information.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Ensure timely processing of vendor invoices and customer payments.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
2. Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a restaurant or hotel industry
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
5. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Job Summary: 

Barbacks are an essential part of the service team within the Beach Club. The barbacks are required to work closely and assist the bar team. The barback must be knowledgeable and have a perfect understanding with regards to all our beverage products. You are required and not limited to maintaining a clean, well-stocked and inviting bar area. You are expected to be attentive and responsive and available throughout the day, your area perfectly attended ensuring cleanliness and working professionally and closely with the bar staff.

Qualifications:

1. A few years of experience working as bar back in a luxury hotel/resort
2. Excellent communication skills. Additional languages will be an advantage
3. Able to multi-task and work under pressure in the busy operations
4. The ability to work well in a team environment
5. Driven, dynamic and energetic

Welcome all clients to our bars ensuring a happy, positive, and friendly impression of the Beach Club. The bartenders will assist the Head Bartender to ensure the highest quality of service and quality beverages according to set standards and recipes and always striving to minimize wastage. This will be executed in a friendly, professional, and timely manner holding natural conversation and delivering with the highest of standards and best practice. The bartender must be knowledgeable and have a perfect understanding with regards to all our products and menus. You are expected to be attentive and responsive and available to clients needs throughout the day, your area perfectly attended ensuring cleanliness and working professionally with other team members. It is your responsibility to ensure that the clients receive the best possible experience and that all client queries and complaints are dealt with professionally and efficiently. The bartender must always have an exceptional appearance, be energetic and comfortable interacting with clients. The bartender will be comfortable using his/her knowledge to up sell where possible and provide an overall exceptional beach club experience to new and existing clients.

Qualifications:

1. 1 to 2 years of experience in similar position in a high-volume, fast-paced beach restaurant
2. Excellent communications skills. Other languages would be an added advantage.

You are required and not limited to maintaining a clean, well-stocked and inviting floor area. You are expected to be attentive and responsive and available throughout the day, your area perfectly attended ensuring cleanliness and working professionally and closely with the waiting staff.

Qualifications:

1. 1 to 2 yrs previous experience as a waiter / waitress in a beach restaurant 
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. A keen eye for detail and a passion for providing outstanding service.
4. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
5. A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.

The host/ hostess will seat all clients in a friendly, professional timely manner and must be knowledgeable and a hub of information with regards to the beach club, holding natural conversation and delivering with the highest of standards. The Host will be available to clients needs throughout the day, working closely with other team members and the door manager to ensure an excellent service and deal with any client queries or complaints professionally and efficiently. The host must always have an exceptional appearance, be energetic and comfortable interacting with guests. The host will be happy to spend time with all beach club clients using his/her knowledge to up sell where possible and provide an overall exceptional beach club experience to new and existing clients.

Qualifications:

1. 1 to 2yrs previous experience in beach restaurant or a similar role.
2. Strong understanding of professional service etiquette.
3. Ability to handle reception duties with confidence and professionalism.
4. Basic computer literacy, including email management and data entry.
5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
